Jenang Upih

This food is definitely represent my childhood. Jenang Upih, a simple (almost plain) cake made of rice flour and steamed in a certain part of hard pines leaves called upih.

Todays jenang upih turns into fancy cake. I hardly found the plain version but some restaurant provide the more fancy cake. Usually they put some shredded fried beef

and some spice
